Description

Unearth the fascinating stories of early Yass Valley residents, such as explorer Hamilton Hume, pastoralist AB Triggs, and victims of the notorious William Munday. Share in their triumphs, secrets, and scandals while strolling among their headstones. This 90-minute walking tour which earned NSW Parliament recognition in 2024, will be conducted by experienced volunteers from the Yas Valley History Centre. It's an amazing opportunity to engage with local history in an unforgettable way. Please note: the ground at the cemetery is uneven in places and not suitable for strollers or those with mobility issues. Please wear sturdy footwear and bring sun protection and water. If you would like additional details, please don't hesitate to contact them through the Trybooking event link. They look forward to welcoming you to the upcoming Yass Graveside Yarns tour, and sharing their wonderful local history with you!
