ILLUMINATING LAMPSHADES Creating Art in Textiles & Fibre Sherrie Jewson - solo exhibition Whether you are a lover of textiles or not there is much to be inspired by with Sherrie's exhibition as she takes the use of fibre and textiles to the next level. PUBLIC OPENING EVENT: Meet the Artist, Sherrie Sunday 5 January Arrive at 2pm for a 2.30pm start Scones & light refreshments provided Sherrie studied fashion and design at Hobart TAFE in the mid 1980's, and she studied 'art converted to textiles' at Box Hill, Melbourne. In the 1990's Sherrie owned a Tasmanian Made products shop in Hobart. Now, Sherrie creates art in textile and fibre from her studio in Campbell Town. All artwork will be for sale.
