Darwin Entertainment Centre and SLIDE Youth Dance Theatre present Inspired by song lyrics that resonate with the cast, LIFE follows the lives of teenagers whose safe place is ‘where the music is’. Song lyrics are the barometer of a generation, they speak for broken hearts, moments of pure celebration and days where the whole world seems troubled and confused. Songs are the soundtrack to our life. Following a successful first season in 2023, LIFE focuses on lyrics, sign language communication and symbolism, and is a contemplative performance that uniquely speaks to our young generation.
