Description

Hunter Drama's Performance Troupe is thrilled to present what many believe to be Shakespeare's final play: The Tempest at the Playhouse, Civic Theatre. Stranded on a mysterious island, a vengeful sorcerer conjures a storm that sets a grand reckoning in motion. Betrayal, magic, and romance collide in Shakespeare's The Tempest, a tale of power, forgiveness, and the forces that shape our destinies. With dynamic performances and inventive storytelling, Hunter Drama's Performance Troupe brings new energy to this classic masterpiece. Directed by Dan Stranger, who is assisted by Vicky Ellis, the bi-annual Hunter Drama Performance Troupe production is keenly anticipated. The Hunter Drama Performance Troupe is an extension program for students with a high level of skill and commitment to drama. Serious about acting, these young people perform at drama festivals and eisteddfod events to help hone their craft. With themes still relevant today, don't miss this classic masterpiece!
