Description
Join artist Sue Vesely for an introductory drawing workshop focusing on calming techniques and meditative drawing.
Held in the MAC yapang marquee overlooking the Sculpture Park and beautiful Lake Macquarie this beginner-friendly workshop is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other creatives while experiencing the relaxing benefits of drawing.
You will learn drawing techniques that promote a calming effect and meditative state of mind. Drawing in new ways that are not concerned with "getting it right", composition or perspective and using mainly line, you will start to feel and strengthen the connection between the hand and eye, and gain confidence in controlling your technique.
In this group, participants will focus on drawing beautiful objects, such as flowers and natural forms which engage the mind and soothe the spirit.
