Dive in for an unforgettable evening of film as the Creative Wollongong Short Film Festival returns to the big screen! Presented by Wollongong and Shellharbour City Councils, this free indoor event showcases a dynamic mix of short films by emerging and professional Illawarra filmmakers.
Featuring award-winning films like Dear Ocean, I Love You, The Crown, and Over—recently crowned Best Australian Comedy at Flickerfest—plus exclusive works filmed around stunning Lake Illawarra.
Brought to you in partnership with Screen Illawarra, Bus Stop Films, Coequal, and the NSW Government, this event is a heartfelt celebration of community, creativity, and the unique South Coast stories.

The first 80 minutes of the program is suitable for children 8 years and over then there will be a 5-minute interval. Under 18s will not be permitted to stay for the final three films, which are rated M and MA+ (aprox 40 minutes).
