Christmas Day at Healesville Sanctuary

Healesville Sanctuary is open on Christmas Day. Enjoy a relaxed day in the beautiful bushland setting and see your favourite Aussie animals. With plenty of picnic places to eat, the Harvest Café is offering a one-off special Christmas Day menu along with regular snacks and drinks to add to your picnic hamper and you don't need to book! The Candlebark kiosk next to the retail shop for last minute Christmas shopping will be open to fill your tummies with tasty treats, including a delicious new menu featuring locally sourced ingredients and Ben and Jerry's scoop ice-creams. The Sanctuary Shop has -popular animal plush toys, a beautiful Indigenous range, unique jewellery, homewares and much more. Cool off under the misters or dip your toes in the Coranderrk creek. There are two creek play areas for children to splash in. Their teams will be delivering all their usual Keeper Talks and close-up Experiences, so check out the website before your visit to plan your day.
