Cyprus Festival

The Cyprus Festival has become a permanent fixture of the South Australian yearly calendar. The Festival has been warmly embraced not only by those of Hellenic origin but by the wider South Australia community. The yearly event attracts an audience of more than 5000 from all walks of life coming together to celebrate Cyprus' culture and heritage but always within the context of the broader South Australian multicultural community. By doing so they are promoting cultural diversity and social cohesion. The Cyprus Community Festival showcases a full program of entertainment and events for the young and old, featuring the best local talent and special interstate and international performers with the high-quality array of food, beverages and sweets attendees have come to expect. Each year they are proud to showcase their Cyprus Community Dance Group alongside a lineup of other community dance groups and performers, with many children and young adults participating. The Cyprus Festival is the major fundraising event for the Community which raises much needed funds required to provide the communities' programs not only to community members but to the whole South Australian community.
