Lambert Estate is proud to present Avylon Magarey's current exhibition 'Terrarium Girl'
Avylon is a local high school teacher in the Barossa Valley.
Her current collection of work started with studies of succulents and cacti which then expanded to other plant species such as carnivorous plants and creatures such as butterflies and moths.
She enjoys being inspired by the natural environment and the decorative arts.
This collection mainly consists of lino prints which is a very process-based way to work and a medium she really enjoys using. All the prints are hand printed with a traditional Japanese barren and printed on a variety of Japanese papers.
Exhibition dates: 18 October 2024 - 11th December 2024
