Burdekin Water Festival Grand Parade & Mardi Gras

The Burdekin Water Festival is one of the longest running festivals in Queensland, celebrating the abundance of water in the Burdekin region. Spanning three months, it features an Ambassador Program and associated events. Join the celebrations when the Burdekin Water Festival Grand Parade & Mardi Gras take over Queen Street with floats, rides, games, food, entertainment and much more. Everyone is welcome to join in what will be an extraordinary celebration and continue the festivities into the night for the official crowning of the Junior Ambassador winner and runner up.
