Description
Heartlands is a multi-media celebration of the literary and musical culture of Ukraine.
Hear world-class composers, rarely heard in Sydney, discover Valentyn Silvestrov’s classical piano compositions, Myroslav Skoryk’s violin and a collection of Ukrainian jazz and operatic folk.
Be delighted in the intervals, savour a selection of Ukrainian nibbles and chill to modern Ukrainian and Crimean R&B and hip hop.
100% of the proceeds from Heartlands will go to the Defend Ukraine Appeal.
The event is supported by the Ukrainian Studies Foundation in Australia (FUSA), the Ukrainian Council of NSW - ОУГ НПВ , Embassy of Ukraine in Australia, Prestige Plus and the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations.
Seating is limited, so bookings are essential.
