Urzila Carlson

Multi-award-winning South African-New Zealander Urzila Carlson is one of Australian and New Zealand’s biggest comedy stars, and she’s bringing her trademark cheeky wit back to Australian stages in 2025 with the ”You Don’t Say” Tour. Urzila will perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for a limited run at the iconic Palais Theatre. The ”You Don’t Say” Tour will continue throughout July and August, heading to Adelaide on July 26, before taking in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Newcastle, Sydney and Canberra and finishing in Perth on August 30. Talking about the upcoming dates, Urzila said “You Don’t Say” is a show born out of sarcasm and storytelling from the mind of a woman who might be slightly out of her mind! I cannot wait to tour this show and bring it to your ears!”. In 2024, Urzila made her mark in the realm of feature animation by lending her voice to the character Honkus in the animated film Ozi, which will be released in Australia at the end of 2024. This exciting project boasts a star-studded cast, including Donald Sutherland, Laura Dern, Ru Paul, and Amandla Stenberg.
