Nothing says Christmas like carolling, cathedrals, community and cheer! Join Rising Voices (formerly ACS2), members of Adelaide Chamber Singers and Cathedral Organist David Heah, to let the spaces of St Peter’s Cathedral ring and resound with the joy of the season.
Rising Voices sings inspired music from around the world that moves us to rejoice, reflect and the space will resound with harmony. Featuring the double choir splendour of Bob Chilcott’s Advent Antiphons, Poulenc’s Four Christmas Motets – mysterious, heavenly and inspirational, and beautiful interpretations of favourite texts by Sarah Quartel, Elizabeth Poston, Joe Twist and our own Rachel Bruerville’s evocative Australian carol Mistletoebird.
They invite you to share thir joy singing audience carols with organ and descants.
