Random Weaving Wreath Workshop

Learn random weaving with Jules Brooker from Flow and Flourish where participants will prep, shape and adorn their own sculptural piece, ready to hang or gift. Participants might like to make a traditional circular wreath or explore contemporary basketry techniques to create an all-year-round door or wall sculpture. Attendees may like to bring and add their own collections from beach or bush or adorn their handmade piece later with fresh or dried florals and foliage. No weaving experience is required and they guarantee you will leave with a piece you are proud to display. This hands-on workshop includes: tuition on the contemporary 'random weave' technique; guidance on collecting and preparing plant fibres for sustainable art; all weaving materials including foraged Bangalow palm inflorescence; nutritious and delicious morning tea, hot and cold bevvies; connection and play with each other and cheeky farmyard friends. Please note this workshop does not include materials to adorn your woven piece. This will be their last workshop for the year so don't delay!
