Rutherford Sparkling Shiraz Masterclass

Grampians Estate this year celebrates 20 years of producing the Rutherford Sparkling Shiraz. As one of its flagship wines, owners Tom and Sarah Guthrie are very proud at the number of so many great vintages made over the years. Fortunately they have some of the oldest vintages in the cellar for you to enjoy. Come to the Masterclass and experience the taste and rich aromas of multi trophy award winning sparkling shiraz wines then stay for lunch in the winery cafe. Great Western is the spiritual home of Sparkling Shiraz, having been pioneered at Seppelt in the 1890s when it was owned by Hans Irvine. Tom Guthrie, owner and winemaker, will conduct the tasting session. These wines have aged magnificently developing complexity and enticing flavours over time.
