Description
Kee’ahn is a proud Yalanji, Jirrbal, Badu islander artist who now calls the Kulin Nation (Melbourne) home.
Kee’ahn has a natural ability to blend island soul, r’n’b and additional genres including pop. Kee’ahn’s moving vocals and reflection on finding resilience in times of struggle will pay homage to the works of the late Josh Muir and his exhibition, JXSH MVIR: Forever I live, presented by the Koorie Heritage Trust and the Art Gallery of Ballarat.
Kee’ahn is supported by proud Meriam woman of the Torres Strait Islands, deborahN, whose smooth tones lend themselves to a mix of indie rock, soul, gospel and Indigenous sounds.
