Spend an evening with London-based Monica Berg, a star whose sphere continues to grow. Berg and partner Alex Kratena own the celebrated Tayer + Elementary in Shoreditch, a venue offering a casual space for daytime drinks and a high-end cocktail experience by night. Perfumery and mixology blend in Muyu, her range of bespoke liqueurs, crafted with signature elegance and precision. Recent accolades include first place on the Bar World 100 list and the Roku Industry Icon Award from the World’s 50 Best Bars, with Tayer + Elementary named fourth best bar globally. Ethics, education and sustainability are also among priorities for the trailblazing Berg, who launched the non-profit (P)our to help expand knowledge across the drinks community and continues to mentor emerging talent. Joining her behind the bar for this special celebration will be Luke Whearty, best known for his starring role in Melbourne bar Byrdi, together with the teams from Adelaide favourites Never Never, Maybe Mae and Latteria.
