For a proud and grand milestone, this is an equally grand offering. Forty for 40. Forty singers, forty parts. Presenting Thomas Tallis’ 40-part motet Spem in alium composed for 8 choirs in 5 parts and they have commissioned a major work in 40 parts by Carl Crossin, as a sister work to the Tallis. Featuring members of Rising Voices and former-ACS singers, they place the artistry of the Renaissance alongside Crossin’s luminous compositional voice. Featuring music by: Crossin, Tallis, Palestrina, Pärt, Laura Mvula, Reena Esmail, Owain Park and many more. Conducted by Christie Anderson
