Notes on Life, Loss, Longing and Love

Notes on life, loss, longing and love is a community driven project capturing the essence of life’s most profound and complex experiences. Using the all too familiar medium of the Post-It note to jot down and share their stories, the audience and community are invited to take part in this final project commissioned as part of the National Gallery of Australia’s loan of Ron Mueck’s Pregnant woman. The community becomes the storytellers and contributing artists, sharing experiences of the fragile beauty of longing, the heavy weight of loss, and the enduring power of love.
