Join the team at Bake and Gather for a special Pasta and Gnocchi Cooking Demonstration, where owners Juan and Justine will share cherished family recipes passed down through generations. If you've ever wanted to master the art of homemade pasta, this is the perfect opportunity to learn from scratch. What's on the menu: Potato Gnocchi – Light, pillowy, and perfect every time. Egg Pasta – The foundation of silky, fresh pasta that can be shaped into delicate noodles like spaghetti, rolled into lasagne sheets, or crafted into filled parcels such as ravioli. On the day, they’ll demonstrate how to make ravioli with both meat and vegetarian fillings. Sauces: Pomodoro Sauce – A simple, classic tomato sauce that never goes out of style. Burnt Butter and Sage Sauce – A rich, nutty sauce that pairs beautifully with fresh pasta, especially gnocchi. Arrabbiata Sauce – A bold and spicy tomato, capsicum and chilli sauce with a warm hum or a kick if you desire. This demonstration-based class will showcase essential techniques, from kneading and shaping dough to creating beautifully balanced sauces. You’ll get to taste everything made on the day, refreshments, take-home recipes, and gain the confidence to recreate these dishes in your own kitchen.
