In this delightful interactive performance for early years from Denmark, we meet a young girl on her quest to the bakery, who navigates alongside a turtle, through a forest of signs and follows the stars to guide us across the sea. This journey of self-discovery unfolds as two performers tap into the power of children's imagination. Using live music from strings, drums and an accordion, along with everyday objects, to tell a captivating story. You Are Here makes young children feel they play a part in finding the character's way in the world by performing at their eye level and encouraging participation. Through words, light, sound, and images, one can discover all the different ways one can find one's way. After the performance children are invited to make their own stories of patterns, piles and rows of beach stones with images and letters from the show.
