Description

Freddie used to think she had a normal family. Now she's letting all the skeletons (& herself) out of the closet. Come meet Mum/Terri, the homophobic closeted lesbian; Dad/Wayne, the violent hopeless romantic; Cousin Mike, the public masturbator; and Archie, the family dog. Through dark comedy and the weirdest songs you've ever heard, Freddie will expose her family's deepest secrets. The original track-list includes 'Smacking My Kids' and 'I Know I'm A Good Mother Because My Children Aren't Gay.' If you've ever wanted to feel better about your own relations, come meet Freddie's Dysfunctional Family Jukebox. Freddie's comedy has been described as mixing "cheery positivity with slightly unsettling subject material" (Hugging Comedians). She is a 2025 Adelaide Fringe Fund Recipient. She has performed in Edinburgh, London and on the Gala show at the 2024 Bendigo Comedy Festival, alongside Urvi Majumdar and Geraldine Hickey. Dysfunctional Family Jukebox is directed by award-winning director, Marcel Blanch-de Wilt. Strictly ages 18 and over.
