The Persian Film Festival Australia 2025 returns with films by filmmakers who have defied immense personal and professional risks to bring their powerful stories to life. This year, the PFFA program showcases fearless narratives that break boundaries, including Tatami, a gripping drama about an Iranian female judo fighter caught in a web of political pressure and personal integrity, as well as the Oscar-winning In the Shadow of Cypress. The 11th edition of the festival also offers an exciting lineup, featuring opening ceremonies, feature films, short films, documentaries, special screenings, and Q&As with filmmakers. Don't miss the chance to see these daring films on the big screen in Sydney, Melbourne, and Armidale!
