Easter Enamel workshop with Artist Rebekah Walkarden

Create unique Easter-themed pendants with Artist Rebekah Walkarden. Rebekah will introduce you to wet pack enameling which you will use to colour in your own Easter egg or rabbit pendant. Once fired the enamel will turn into glass creating a one-of-a-kind wearable piece of art. Rebekah is the current Artist in residence at the Ipswich Art Workshop, your pendant once dried and fired will be available to pick up from the workshop space. Rebekah Walkarden is an emerging multidisciplinary artist and curator. Her work spans both sculptural and two-dimensional forms often employing glass, metal and found objects to tell autobiographical and family stories. Through employing the hyper personal she seeks connection with universal themes of family, loss and memory.
