Escape From Plastika in Glebe Park

A free performance for young families! Escape From Plastika is a fun and educational dance and theatre performance by award-winning dance company Australian Dance Party, Canberra (Ngunnawal). With the help of their mission recruits (that's you), Dance heroes Alpha, Delta and Pi, time travel to the year 2109 to planet Plastika – formerly known as Earth, and otherwise known as the local park. Tasked to find ways to lessen a most unwelcome makeover to beloved planet Earth, discover your own power to change the future. Join an imaginative and active mission using dance and theatre to explore the problem of plastic! Bonus free workshop at 12pm for infants and primary-aged kids and families exploring dance and making with plastic!
