Description

Fuel your creative appetite with a pottery class by renowned local Potter Elizabeth Bell followed by a sumptuous three course lunch in the beautiful historic Barrel Hall of Provenance Wines. Delve into the traditional techniques of pinching and coiling. Pinching uses your fingers to shape and form the clay, while coiling involves rolling out long ropes of clay and layering them to build your piece. Both methods provide an organic and intuitive approach to creating pottery. Then let Provenance Head Chef Nathan McIver take you on a journey with local, seasonal ingredients. Experience modern Australian cuisine, beautiful plating and well-considered dishes. This event is part of the Tastes of Greater Geelong 2025 program. Tastes of Greater Geelong is an annual, mid-winter festival presented by the City of Geelong which showcases and celebrates the region's renowned food, beverage, and hospitality destinations.
