Workshops and Activities at the Art Gallery of New South Wales

Head to the Art Gallery of New South Wales for fun artmaking activities. Entry is free! Experience the new interactive artwork 'Happy Birthday 2U2', created by Hong Kong–based Japanese artist and architect Hikoko Ito, where you're invited to make a card for your birthday twin. Enjoy hands-on drop-in workshops where kids can make sculptural reliefs, and beautiful autumnal wreaths and lanterns. Families can also join interactive art-making tours that explore the Gallery's collection in fun and imaginative ways. A dedicated clay play workshop offers a welcoming, sensory-friendly environment designed for children with disability, and an interactive storytime delivered in Auslan and interpreted into English will also take place in the Children's Art Library.
