Adelaide Plains Council

Nothing about this flat, fertile country looks like it was once training ground for war. Mallala's old RAAF base played a real role during the Second World War, remnants of the airfield still visible among the farmland today. Two Wells anchors the district as its main township, sitting quietly amid the plains that give the council its name. This part of South Australia has always fed the city to its south without much fanfare.
