Eyre Peninsula

This coast has a habit of turning the tables, wild sea lions at Baird Bay and Point Labatt often swimming up to snorkellers rather than the other way around. Beyond the water, dunes rise steep enough to squeak underfoot, and granite outcrops stand like sentinels over flat farmland. The salt lakes do something stranger still, white stretching so far in every direction that the line between land and sky simply disappears. This coast never settles into just one kind of wild.
