Caloundra Area

Caloundra trades big-city buzz for grassy foreshore parks and a run of beaches that each do something different. Kings Beach anchors the town with its ocean pool built right into the rocks, a proper swim without the swell most days. Bulcock Beach catches the wind enough to draw kite surfers most afternoons, while Golden Beach trades the open ocean for the calm water of Pumicestone Passage. Walk or cycle the Coastal Pathway the whole way between them, foreshore parks and lookouts strung along the route. Four beaches, and somehow a different one for every mood.
