This is Adelaide's fastest-growing corner, new suburbs spreading out where farmland once sat, close enough to the Barossa's southern approach to make a wine country day trip an easy option. The surrounding hills offer genuine lookout points over the plains below, quieter than anything closer to the city centre. Playford sits at the edge of several worlds at once, city, farmland and wine country all within a short drive of each other. This part of Adelaide is still very much being written.
