City of Tea Tree Gully

This council sits exactly where Adelaide's suburbs run out and the hills properly begin, Anstey Hill Recreation Park holding old quarry trails and genuine bushwalking within easy reach of the city. The park's history runs deep too, limestone once carried from here to build much of early Adelaide. Golden Grove keeps its own heritage corners among the newer suburbs, a reminder of the area's rural past before the housing estates arrived. This part of the city still remembers what it looked like before it was a suburb at all.
