The exact halfway point of an entire continent crossing, painted onto a grain silo
Not every midpoint gets a mural, but Kimba's does, the halfway point on the road between Adelaide and Perth painted directly onto the town's grain silos. The Big Galah stands nearby as the town's other roadside icon, an oversized pink bird that's been greeting travellers for decades. Wheat and sheep country stretches out in every direction from here, flat enough to see the next town's water tower away.
