District Council of Tumby Bay

This coast hides more than it shows from the shore. The Sir Joseph Banks Group scatters twenty low-lying islands just offshore, a marine park thick with sea lions, seabirds and some of the best King George whiting fishing in the state. Back in town, the local silo mural shows kids jumping off the jetty, painted life-size for anyone driving past to recognise instantly. This town has always measured its days by the tide.
