The Quandamooka People have lived on this Country, land and sea both, for more than 21,000 years. Walk the North Gorge headland at Point Lookout on Minjerribah, whales, dolphins and turtles all visible from the cliffs in season, then cool off at Cylinder Beach. Back on the mainland, Cleveland keeps its own heritage lighthouse and point, gateway to a scatter of quiet bay islands. Close enough for an afternoon, worth every bit of a longer stay.
