Southern Range and Wine Country

This range doesn't ease you in, and Bluff Knoll proves it, the Stirling Range's highest peak climbing sharply enough that hikers often reach the top with cloud still drifting past below them. The range holds some of the most botanically diverse country in the world, easy to miss while catching your breath at the summit. Vineyards roll through the cooler valleys at its base, grapes grown in some of the highest-altitude wine country in the state. Few climbs in Australia offer quite this much reward for quite this little distance.
