A heritage steam train still running through the same pass it always has

Some railways get replaced. This one just kept going. Quorn's Pichi Richi Railway still runs a heritage steam train through the same rugged pass it's crossed for well over a century. Hawker anchors the district as the gateway to Wilpena Pound, the last real town before the ranges open up properly. Blinman holds its own copper mining history further north, underground tours running through tunnels dug more than a century ago in a town that's otherwise gone quiet.
