The Goulburn

This valley finds new uses for its river at almost every bend, Nagambie Lake widening it into a genuine playground for water sports and racehorse training alike. Tahbilk anchors the valley's wine history, one of Australia's oldest continuously operating wineries, its heritage cellars still built into the original 1860s stone. Mitchelton's distinctive tower rises from the vines nearby, a landmark visible long before you reach the cellar door. Further south, the valley climbs gently toward Victoria's high country.
