Town of Walkerville

This is a town that never grew much beyond its original footprint, heritage buildings along Walkerville Terrace still standing from among the earliest days of the colony. The River Torrens runs along its edge, an easy stretch of the Linear Trail for an unhurried walk or ride. Everything here sits close together, a proper small-town feel barely minutes from the middle of Adelaide. This is Adelaide at its most compact, in the best possible way.
