Sculptures grown straight out of the rainforest floor
This region rewards wandering in either direction, forest trails and hidden art on one side, rolling vineyard country on the other. William Ricketts Sanctuary holds dozens of clay figures embedded directly into the Dandenong rainforest, moss and ferns growing over artwork left to age with the landscape. Yering Station has been making wine here since 1838, Victoria's oldest working winery. Two very different kinds of green, growing side by side.
