Yorke Peninsula's coast road loops the entire peninsula, wild ocean beaches on one side giving way to calm gulf water on the other, rarely more than an hour's drive between the two. Innes National Park anchors the southern tip, dramatic cliffs and a genuine shipwreck coast worth the whole drive on its own. Salt lakes and quiet farmland fill the interior between the coast roads, flat country that catches the light differently through the day.
