Dredge's Cottage

Dredge's Cottage is a good example of a late nineteenth-century Victorian house containing the style of the colonial period. This 1890s house has been home to the Veteran's Recreation Centre since 1987, the only one of its kind in Australia. Dredge's Cottage features and displays memorabilia covering all theatres of conflict from the Boer War in 1902 to Vietnam. A memorial wall set in the grounds records the names of local servicemen killed in action in two World Wars. Located in the heart of Campbelltown and is featured on the self-guided Campbelltown Heritage and Cultural Walk. Parking is available at the surrounding Campbelltown Mall Shopping Complex.
