Dunghutti-Ngaku Aboriginal Art Gallery

62-118 Lachlan Street, South Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia, 2440 Arrow
The Dunghutti-Ngaku Aboriginal Art Gallery (DNAAG) is housed in the annex of the Kempsey Visitor Information Centre, designed by internationally renowned architect Glen Murcutt. The gallery is situated in parkland on the south side of Kempsey in the Macleay Valley on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales and has been in operation since 2008. The gallery is a not-for-profit venue operating with support from the commonwealth government through the Indigenous Visual Arts Industry Support program. The gallery aims to showcase and market the works of prominent, established and emerging Aboriginal artists of the Dunghutti region and Mid North Coast area. Throughout this region, there is a range of storytelling practices presented through works of art. The gallery always has new and interesting works on display, and well rewards repeated visits. As well as the beautiful artworks on display, the gallery stocks a wide range of giftware including towels, jewellery, cushion covers, bags, and tableware. The gallery is open to the public seven days a week.
