Lions Park in Hodgson Vale is a lovely stop just 12 kilometres from Toowoomba en route to Steele Rudd Country and Warwick. A large park located just off the New England Highway, it's the perfect place for a barbecue or a picnic and a lovely stop to break your journey. There's a free barbecue, half basketball court and play equipment for the kids and well maintained public facilities.
