Six Mile Creek, Bluff Lookout and Little White Rock Trails

These trails form part of the White Rock - Spring Mountain Conservation Estate trail network managed by Ipswich City Council and is accessed from the Paperbark Flats Picnic Area within the Estate. You may see koalas on these easy-to-moderate walking trails if you're lucky. Keep an eye out for scratches and droppings at the base of large gums, indicating that a koala may be resting in the branches. The Six Mile Creek Boardwalk, Bluff Lookout Circuit, and Little White Rock (Lookout Circuit) trails can be experienced together or in sections. Along these trails, you will see large swamp box and blue gums, and you might spot swamp wallabies or a shy lace monitor. Six Mile Creek is an ephemeral stream where you can view several revegetation areas in various stages of restoration. A moderate-level track with rough surfaces and a short steep incline takes you to the Bluff lookout, with tree-top views over Six Mile Creek and back into the estate. When you leave the boardwalk, cross over the main track and follow the Little White Rock (Lookout Circuit) trail for a view over the forest and discover the delightful Splendid Hibiscus and Forest Grass Trees.
