Take this cycling adventure to unlock the mystery of the turtle on this fun filled treasure hunt for the whole family to enjoy.
This uninterrupted foreshore bikeway winds along the Boyne River and links all of the local primary and high schools, shopping centres and primary community facilities by way of a fun puzzle to piece together on your journey.
Visitors and locals will learn about the turtle on this interactive journey which is a total length of 18 kilometres but you can take various parts of the path separately as detailed in the itinerary.
Boyne Island and Tannum Sands have a variety of park, playgrounds, fitness stations and barbecue areas located along the path with picturesque sights of the river on most of the journey.
Take your time, make a day of it and get out there and get active.
The Turtle Way Bikeway can be enjoyed from a variety of starting points dependent upon distances and what you want to achieve while on your walk, cycle, ride, scoot or run.
