Koonara Wines Cellar Door is located on the main street of Penola, in the heart of the Coonawarra region. It’s a short walk to restaurants, cafes, shops, and most of the areas accommodation. The vineyards are certified organic and we have been awarded a five star rating by James Halliday, we were voted Coonawarra Winery of The Year by Melbourne International Wine Competition in 2015, 2016 and 2019. The Limestone Coast's cool climate offers something for everyone; delicate rose Moscato, minerally Riesling, crisp Chardonnay, sweet cherry Pinot Noir, complex Sparkling Chardonnay, famous Coonawarra Cabernet and more. In the Cellar Door you’ll find everything you need to host the perfect dinner party including; crockery, glassware, local produce, kitchen gadgets, and more.
