Meteorite Park

High in the skies on 28 September 1969, above the town of Murchison, the legendary Murchison Meteorite exploded. The meteorite was said to be around 4.5 billion years old. There is a sheltered area and picnic table, and the Park is located a short walking distance from nearby shops and cafes, playground and public toilets. Towards the back of the park stretch your legs and your mind as you reflect along the meteorite labyrinth.
