Nestled in suburb of St Peters in the Inner West of Sydney, right next door to Marrickville, Willie the Boatman is where terrible jokes and unbeatable beers take shape. Housed in a former Taubman’s paint factory, the expansive space is decorated with nautical relics – a nod to Willie himself, the Scottish freed-convict who ferried people across the nearby Cooks River in his rowboat.
