Riverdowns is at the centre of one of Australia’s most famous freshwater fisheries. Fly fishing instruction and guiding can be arranged for guests and visitors. Your guide, Andy Matenson, has over 30 years of professional guiding experience. He guides in Victoria's High Country, New England, and the Snowy Mountains. He is a Certified Casting Instructor with the International Fly Fishing Federation. Riverdowns Fly Fishing has 600 metres of private frontage to the historic Howqua River, and other famous trout streams, including the Delatite, Jamieson and Upper Goulburn Rivers are within easy reach. Riverdowns Fly Fishing Guiding and Instruction offer two hour lessons, half day trips and all day guiding. All gear can be supplied. Accommodation at Riverdowns is also available.
